No one is holy
“Just to be a blessing, just to live is holy” Abraham Joshua Haschel
No one is too holy and no one is too sinful to work for God “ we have all sin and fall short of the glory of God” Rom 3:23 God can call any one to his service, he can bless any one he wish to bless, he can change any one story from bad to good (Saul to Paul, Abram to Abraham etc.), the God we are serving, all human being are equal in his sight, i.e. no one is greater than the other , sinner don’t give-up that God cannot change you again, don’t think that your problems cannot be solved. As God appoint Saul to be the king over his people in today reading, he has also called us into our various duties to service God, he has come to dine, thought we are a sinner, we don’t worthy to receive him “I am not worthy to receive you only say your words and my soul shall be renew” Matt 18:18 but he has close his eye to our sins “….close your eye to my sins…..” Ps 51:9 and choose to visit us, he love sinner but hate sine “why does he eat with tax collector and sinner” Mak 2:16 are you ready to welcome him to your life, are you ready to do what he has appointed you to do ? “ here am I, I stand by the door and knock, if any one hear my voice and open, I will come in and eat with that person and they with me” Rev 3:20 no one is holy enough to walk, dine, talk, and interact with God “…..our righteousness is like a filthy of rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf and like the wind our sins sweep us away” Isa 64:6 but he is ready be by our side, my dear brothers and sisters in the Lord it’s never too late to welcome God, and fulfill the purpose of our existence, as he has anointed Saul today he has also anoint you to fulfill the purpose of which God has created you.
