Did God answer prayers?
Prayer is not asking, prayer is putting oneself in the hand of God, at his disposition and listening to his voice in the depth of our hearts” Mother Teresa
I attended one prayer crusade; the pastor was praying for people, here is the theme of the prayers. Untimely money i.e. (money that will come suddenly, unworked for ) all those present there, kept on praying with all their strength and might because they want money they never worked for. Is such spirit from God? Today the bible remind us that “my dear friend do not trust all spirit. Test the spirit to see if they come from God” 1Joh 4:2 people like those who tell lies they don’t want to hear the truth, but the question we keep asking ourselves is that how do we know that, this is God spirit? “ every spirit that acknowledge that Jesus Christ came in flesh” 1John 4:2 some of us think that been a Christian, we must not be face with challenges, trials, and temptation NO, those who acknowledge that Jesus came in flesh, will know that Jesus also suffer, he pass through temptation as Mathew recorded in Matt 4:4 What do you ask from God that you have not received? “if any one lacks wisdom let him ask God who give everything generously and ungrudgingly and it will be given to him, but you asked in faith not doubling, for he who doubt is like a wave driven and tossed by the wind” James 1:5-6 did you believe that God can do what you are asking him? If you don’t believe you cannot receive anything from him, and on what motive are praying? , is what you are asking the right thing to asked? “when you ask you don’t receive because you pray with wrong motive” James 4:3 Never give up praying to God, he ears you, and see you but has a better plan for your life.
