The act of ordering for census was a pride, David put on the garment of pride, he want to know how many territory he his controlling and God was not happy with such action, “The earth is of the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world and all that live in it” Psalm 24:1 when we want to show: how superior and powerful we are “once God has spoken; twice I heard this: that power belong to God” Psalm 62:11 he share his glory with no one
“He was unable to perform any mighty deed there” (Mark 6:5 )because they look down on Jesus, with such act that; they are better than him, he is just a carpenter son, no matter how big or influenced you are don’t compare yourself with another, because God is not find delighted in the pride, but instead humble yourself before him so that you can receive more of his blessings and favor. Because you are not greater than other, we are all equal in God sight
Prayer Point: God grant me the grace to be humble in all I do
